De vaste acteurs van Het Zuidelijk kunnen niet wachten zich onder te dompelen in Brabant. Want wat ís Brabant? Wanneer ben je een deel van Brabant en wanneer mag je je Brabander noemen? In hun zoektocht worden de acteurs geholpen door amateurspelers uit Brabant. Door middel van veldonderzoek langs sterke verhalen, tradities en typische inwijdingsrituelen hopen ze de couleur locale te vatten. Het resultaat belooft een feestelijke theaterervaring te worden, waarin de acteurs van Het Zuidelijk én amateurspelers uit Brabant uiteenzetten. Maar wie is nu de hoofdrolspeler en wie is de figurant? Wat is echt en wat blijkt een mythe? Hoe succesvol was de integratie? Zeg eens, wie is hier nu de echte Brabander?

The actors of Het Zuidelijk cannot wait to immerse themselves in Brabant. Because what is Brabant? When are you a part of Brabant and when can you call yourself a Brabander? In their quest, the actors are assisted by amateur actors from Brabant. Through field research along strong stories, traditions and typical initiation rituals they hope to capture the couleur locale. The result promises to be a festive theater experience, in which the actors of Het Zuidelijk and amateur actors from Brabant set out. But who is the main actor and who is the extra?
